‘The Parlour Presents:’ is a series where we highlight independent music labels, curators, booking agents, and artists, opening our space as a blank canvas for whatever shade of artistry they choose to present on our stage.

This time, we’re working with MY MUM HAD A MULLET, an eclectic curator of tomorrow’s favourite sounds that has spent years yelling about why everyone should listen to their favourite artists, alive or dead. With a diverse background of influences that span continents, expect a night of surprises, slowburns, and, most of shockingly of all, incredible music you never would’ve found without them.

Wilson A.

Wilson A. is a middle-aged man from Brighton going through his second divorce. Alternatively, the band 'Wilson A.' is a minimalist rock group from Amsterdam, starting out in the summer of 2022 with some half-baked poems about frustration, low-flying panic attacks and performance anxiety. Wilson A. transforms these weaknesses into a celebration of being human.

MOMSNAME

MOMSNAME is an Indie pop band based in Leeuwarden. What once started as a solo project by Esmee Thiescheffer has evolved, with her serene vocals now complemented by band members Joep, Sander, and Luuk. Bathe yourself in their dreamy and melancholic sound and let their blended waves of emotion wash over you, from soft and comforting to nostalgic and forlorn, and feel it all with them.

Rockpool Dramas

Rockpool Dramas is a four-piece indie outfit based in Amsterdam. They play loud fun guitar music and like it when people dance. It’s a Dutch heavy metal drummer, a Spanish jazz fusion bassist, an Argentinean former classical composition student on lead guitar and an alternative folk songwriter from the U.K. singing the tunes. Shouldn't work - but it does.

Mæhila

Discover the sensation that is Mæhila, a songwriter based in Amsterdam and Luxembourg that delves deep into herself to write painfully relatable songs in a groove-heavy package.
